Born as son of Italian immigrants, I was raised in Switzerland, where I've always lived and where I still work.
To me, my art is the safest and most authentic way to express myself to the people surrounding me. Trips to foreign countries, either concrete or in my phantasy,
are the source of my ideas. Art is a basic need, I feel it as a part of myself. Drawing and being creative, makes me feel balanced and relaxed.
During my artistic journey, I tried different techniques and styles, a fact that reflects my character. I feel the need to move forward, to be open for new ideas,
never pause, always observing, keeping my eyes and my heart open. My art is partly surreal, partly abstract. Furthermore, I really love to work with the so-called “sketched photography” which
consists of photography, sketching and oil-finish.
When looking at my paintings, one has to double-check if it is a picture or an oil painting. The answer is: it's neither nor, it's kind of both. On one hand,
it's digitally created, on the other hand it's manually rebuild and finished up. Working like that, it gives me the opportunity to blur the lines between photography and painting,
To build a world between reality and fiction, in order to let the dynamic and tension grow.
It's important to me, that my creations have a quick and temporary character and not a static one.
Like life. Always changing.

Geboren in der Schweiz, als Sohn italienischer Einwanderer, wo ich noch Lebe und Arbeite.
Die Kunst ist für mich ein Mittel um meine Eindrücke und Emotionen dem Betrachter mitzuteilen.
Für mich ist es die stärkste Art um mich auszudrucken.
Das Reisen sei es Physisch und mit der Phantasie, Eindrücke sammeln und sie in meinen Werken wiederzugeben,
gehört zu meiner Person. Die kreative Zeit ist ein Bedürfnis von mir um mich entspannen
zu können und ein Mentales Gleichgewicht zu behalten.
Im verlauf der Jahre habe ich verschiedene Stile und Techniken gewechselt weil auch dass eine Charakteristik
von mir ist. Das heist, nach Vorne schauen, neues entdecken und nicht stehen bleiben.
Vom Surrealen über Abstrakt bis zu meiner Mischtechnik «Sketched Photography», die aus Skizze,
Fotografie und Ölfinish besteht.
Man muss bei meinen Werken mehrmals hinschauen und fragt sich, ist es eine Fotografie oder doch ein Gemälde?
Was soll ich sagen, weder noch oder eben beides zugleich. Durch die einerseits digitale und anderseits manuelle
Bearbeitung verwische ich die Grenzen zwischen Fotografie und Gemaltem, zwischen abbild der Realität und Fiktion.
Die Werke erhalten durch diese Technik eine Steigerung der Dynamik und Spannung.
Wichtig ist es für mich, dass meine Bilder wieder etwas flüchtiges, vorläufiges erhalten und nicht starr und endgültig wirken.
So wie das Leben. Es verändert sich ständig.

Nato come figlio di emigrati italiani in Svizzera. E qui che vivo e lavoro tuttora.
L`arte per me è un modo per comunicare e condividere le mie impressioni e emozioni con la gente che mi stà intorno.
Per me è la forma più forte per esprimermi.
Viaggiare fisicamente e con la fantasia, raccogliere impressioni e proiettarle nei miei quadri fa parte della persona.
Necessito il tempo creativo per rilassarmi e poter mantenere un equilibrio mentale.
Nel corso degli anni ho cambiato diversi stili e tecniche perchè anche questa è una caratteristica che mi appartiene,
cioè quella di guardare avanti e non rimanere fermo. Dal Surrealista all Astratto fino ad una mia tecnica personale
composta da schizzo, foto e finish ad olio.
Le mie opere si devono contemplare più volte chiedendosi alla fine è una foto o un dipinto? Che rispondere, ne uno
ne l`altro oppure entrambe. Con l`elaborazione digitale da una parte e a mano dall`altra, cancello le bariere tra fotografia
e dipinto, tra la riproduzione reale e la finzione. Per via di questa tecnica, le opere ottengono un potenziamento della
dinamica e tensione.
Per me è importante, che i miei quadri ottengano di nuovo qualcosa di sfuggente, provvisorio e non risultino fissi e definitivi.
Come la vita. È sempre in cambiamento.
